Monday 3/21	The first day of Spring and a very special day for FRC Group 42 families! We arrived at the Civil Affairs office in Changsha at 10:00 and after just a few moments – all the families met their beautiful daughters. There were a few tears from the babies as they left their caretakers and met their new parents and many tears of joy from the new moms and dads who were waiting with open arms. The girls look wonderful – let us introduce : Leah, Autumn, Shannon, Evalyn, Madailein (Maddie) and Laura. By 11:00 we were back on the bus towards the hotel. Paperwork was completed this afternoon and it was official! All the adoptions are complete. Congratulations to the six very happy new families!
Tuesday 3/22	Quite day as babies and parents started to settle in and get to know each other. Some families ventured out on shopping trips to the local department stores and the Super Walmart! Very cold and rainy day but there are rays of sunshine in the room when the babies show their first smiles to their new parents!
Wed 3/23/05	We were invited to visit the orphanage where the girls spent the first months of their life. Everyone enjoyed the visit. The staff was warm and friendly. This afternoon was a big adventure to the 6th Floor of the Dalton Hotel – bowling! Babies love bowling. The girls are settling in more each day – more smiles and even a few giggles!
