We have 3 weeks planned for this summer. Kaylyn will be with us for 2 weeks. Mark's mom & dad join for the first week. The Atlanta Simons family joins for 2nd week. And Ted & Nancy and Bruce, Kris, Bryan & Caroline join for the last week. Liz is hosting for the whole duration.

Sun 7/30
Day 1. We arrived after an early morning flight. It as about 80 degrees at O'Hare at 7:00am but the dogs got on the plane and we arrived w/ no troubles along the way.

Mon 7/31
Day 2. Great day. Mark worked in morning. Joanne & Tony (Gramma & Grampa) arrived from Mke. Sunny & hot.

Tues 8/1
Day 3. Frog Hunt

Day 4. Just a few pictures today

Thu 8/3
Day 5. Boat Trip into Wolfeboro

Fri 8/4
Day 6. Mice were spotted in the cabin. Mark & Kevin began the day checking the traps. Then we drove to Portsmouth, NH for an amazing visit aboard the U.S.C.G. Tall Ship, the Barque Eagle.

Sat 8/5
Day 7. Mark & Kevin went fishing. We had lunch on the water front in Wolfeboro on a glorious day.

Sun 8/6
Day 8. Some more fishing and lots of swimming at the sunken barge.

Tue 8/8
Day 10. A simple day. A few nice dog pictures.

Wed 8/9
Day 11. Today we visited Castle In The Clouds. Plus a new adventure, hiking up a stream from Winnipesaukee to Mirror Lake through about 150 yards of heavy brush and swampy water. Kevin dubbed it the 'River of Death'. One leach, and 30 minutes later we made all the way to Mirror Lake!

Fri 8/11
Day 13. Great ski pictures.

Sat 8/12
Day 14. Bryan, Caroline, Bruce & Kris arrived today.

Tue 8/15
Day 17.Great day on the water. The kids put on a 'show' for us.

Wed 8/16
Day 18.Another great day. We stsrted the day tubing and wakeboarding. Great picture of Kevin (by Bruce). Then we went on a snorkeling expedition and recovered a fishing rod lost overbaord last week by Kevin and Mark. We found it within 30 seconds of diving in. Then Todd, Lisa, et al cam for an afternoon of swimming, boating and a barbecue.

Thu 8/17
Day 19. Fishing off of Kittery, ME on the Seafari. Not the greatest day of fish catching. But the weather was great, the sea was calm and each of the kids caught some fish!
