8/16/'08-G1	FC Milwaukee Invitational. Game 1. FCU 2 - Rockford 1 The girls began the season with a tight 2 - 1 victory over Rockford.(click logo on left for results)
8/16/'08-G2	FC Milwaukee Invitational. Game 2. FCU 1 - NSA 1 A close game and a good result for FC United.(click logo on left for results)
8/17/'08 G3	FC Milwaukee Invitational. Game 3. Toledo 4 - FCU 0. A lackluster performance. Especially after Saturday's two very good games. This loss dropped them out of playoff round competition.(click logo on left for results)
8/24/'08	Windy City Pride 1 - FCU 0 Giving up a goal in the last 30 seconds was a disappointment after a hard-fought game. Illinois Womens Soccer League (Click here for IWSL standings.)
8/30/'08-G1	FCU 0 - LCU 0 A great day to start a tournament. The girls may not have played their best, but they did earn a point with a draw.(click logo on left for results)
8/30/'08-G2	FCU 4 - Glenn Ellyn Raiders 0 The girls started strong with an early goal. They added a second half goal to win 4-0. They are in a good position for the 3rd game.(click logo on left for results)
8/31/'08-G3	FCU 2 - Palatine Celtics 0 After hitting the crossbar twice in the first half the scoring opened up in the second half on two corner kick goals. On to the playoff round!(click logo on left for results)
8/31/'08-G4	Semi-Final Match NSA Fireballs 1 - FCU 0 In a rematch from the FC Milwaukee tournament our girls fought hard, even hit the post without scoring, but lost 1 - 0.(click logo on left for results)
9/20/'08-G1	St Louis Scott Gallagher United (MO) 2 - FCU 0 A beautiful day, manicured field and a tough opponent. We played well in the middle third of the field but couldn't score and allowed two goals. The score tells the story. Midwest Regional League (Click for MRL standings)
9/20/'08-G2	FCU 1 - Ankeny U14G Maroon 0 The girls controlled the play the entire match. Outshot their opponents by a wide-margin but did not secure a win until they scored with 30 seconds left. Midwest Regional League (Click for MRL standings)
9/21/'08	FCU 2 - West Des Moines Freedom 0 In their best effort of the weekend, the girls clearly outplayed and outscored their opponent. This was a great weekend. Midwest Regional League (Click for MRL standings)
10/5/'08	FCU 5 - Libertyville 1 The girls gave up a goal early. But remained poised and came back to score 5 unanswered goals! Illinois Womens Soccer League (Click here for IWSL standings.)
10/17/'08	Sockers 2 - FCU 0 Friday Night Lights - girls' soccer style. It may not have been a huge crowd, but it was a fast-paced game on field turf, which most of the girls liked. Unfortunately, the result was not in FCU's favor. Midwest Regional League (Click for MRL standings)
10/19/'08	FCU 1 - Fox Valley 0 Fall is here. A crisp, but sunny morning. Perfect weather to play. Illinois Womens Soccer League (Click here for IWSL standings.)
10/25/'08-G1	FCU 0 - St Louis Scott Gallagher United 0 Crisp, but sunny fall morning at a beautiful field. Tough game that ended in a 0-0 draw. Midwest Regional League (Click for MRL standings)
10/25/'08-G2	FCU 1 - WC Arsenal 1 The weather was even nicer than in the morning. The girls opened the scoring to take a 1-0 lead. WC tied the game late in the first half. FC could not convert several golden opportunities and had to settle for a tie. Midwest Regional League (Click for MRL standings)
10/26/'08	FCU 0 - Mid Rivers Blue Strikers 0 The weather improved all weekend. But unfortunately, the FCU girls remained even with their opponents. 1 goal scored, 1 goal allowed, 3 ties. Midwest Regional League (Click for MRL standings)
11/8/'08-G1	CASL. Game 1. FCU 1 - Albertson SC Elite Fury 0 It was raining during warmups, overcast in the first half and bright sunshine for the second half. The girls played hard and came away with a 1 goal lead.(click logo on left for results)
11/8/'08-G2	CASL. Game 2. FCU 1 - Tophat SC 13 Gold 0 A bright sunny afternoon. In a tough game FCU scored the only goal to win 1 Nil.(click logo on left for results)
11/9/'08-G3	CASL. Game 3. FCU 0 - CAPE FEAR 94 WAVE WHITE 1 FCU made it to the semi-final game. But could not keep their wining streak alive, falling 0-1.(click logo on left for results) I hope you enjoyed the pictures! -Mark
