Glenview	Loss to Glenview After a pre-season that seemed to go on forever, the boys finally got out onto the gridiron. It was a sunny and hot day. Better for pictures than football.
Evanston	Evanston 13 - Deerfield 8 Deerfield jumped out to an 8 point lead after an impressive first series. The game was closely fought. After several good defensive stops by Deerfield, Evanston took the lead late. And Deerfield ran out of time. Great effort.
Highland Park	Highland Park 31 - Deerfield 20 Deerfield scored enough points to win. But allowed a few more. It was a picture-perfect fall day for football. Another good effort by the boys.
Northbrook	Northbrook 24 - Deerfield 0 Northbrook was a tough opponent.
Skokie	Deerfield 18 - Skokie 12 What a difference a win makes! A cold, rainy night was suddenly beautiful when the boys scored with 35 seconds left. Great game! The weather was a bit of a photography challenge. So I went with the conditions and kept some blurry shots to provide a feel for the mist and rain.
MaineEast	Deerfield 30-something - Maine East 0 Two wins in a row! Even though lots of rain forced the move to Caruso, it was a beautiful sunny day - perfect for football. It was also great for pictures so I was able to get lots of nice shots.
NilesWest	Deerfield 18 - Niles West 8 A beautiful day for football. And, an awesome last game. The boys finished on a high note with a solid victory.
