SC Del Sol President's Day Tournament. Game 1. FCU 0 - Sparta United 0
A good effort to begin the outdoor season against the 3rd ranked team from Utah. A late goal by FCU was called back due to offsides.

SC Del Sol President's Day Tournament. Game 2. FCU 0 - Mesa SCU 2
A chilly night in the desert. The cold air did not help heat up the girls' scoring chances and they gave up 1 goal in each half to fall 0-2. We're still not eliminated from the medal round, but need to win tomorrow. The lighting was not great for pictures, but I'm posting a few.

Lots of sun was very enjoyable, but it did not help the girls as they fell again 2-0.

Sat 4/25-G1
FCU 4 - WDM Freedom Royal (IA) 0 (Game in Appleton, WI)
Maybe the coldest I've ever been watching a match. But the wind, rain and dropping temperatures did not slow the girls who rolled to a 4-0 win.

Sat 4/25-G2
FCU 0 - Burnsville Black Storm (MN) 1 (Game in Appleton, WI)
The only good news from the afternoon game was that the rain stopped. It didn't really get any warmer, but at least we weren't wet and cold.

A great day for soccer and the girls came home with a 1-0 victory. FC outshot Homer Glen by a wide margin but did not put the ball into the net until about 2 minutes remaining.

Mother's D … I mean ... Another State Cup Game
FCU 0 - NSA Fireballs 2

Their State Cup run was short lived as the girls could not overcome a tough opponent and two missing starters. No offense, but I took way too many pictures of Skyllar with the ball today. :-(

Pacesetter Invitational Tournament. Championship Match. FCU 2 - Mississauga Falcons (Toronto) 0
A crisp morning - quite a contract to Saturday's bright, hot sun. But the result was the same. In their first international championship match the defense held strong and the offense scored 2 goals to bring home the top trophy.
