Wed 1/7/'09	Sat 1/17/'09	Caruso Invitational Tournament Shepard finished 10th overall out of 16 schools. JJ was the heavyweight Champion. Joey and Tom came in third. Alex and Kevin rounded out the medal winners with fourth place finishes! Great job by all wrestlers and thanks to Coach Stan and the other coaches. I tried to get pictures of everyone who wrestled. In the early rounds with three mats going, it was a challenge. Also, if I missed any names, sorry. I still don't know all of the kids by face.
Sat 1/24/'09	Shepard Invitational Tournament Shepard finished 1st out of 8 schools. Thanks to all of the coaches and volunteers who helped out. If I missed any names, let me know so I can correct them.

Sat 2/7/'09	Wauconda Invitational Tournament 11 wresterls made it to the medal round. Nice job!
Sat 2/28/'09	Regional Tournament Second place finish for Shepard - WOW! 16 wrestlers made it to sectionals next weekend.
Sat 3/7/'09	Sectional Tournament 16 kids made it to wrestle in the Sectionals Tournament. Six will be moving on to the State Wrestling Finals! Congratulations to Joey, Colton, Ari, Tom, Jim & JJ. Way to go and Good Luck at States!
