8/28: ZionBenton	DHS 36 - Zion-Benton 8 Great opening game. The score was even better than the weather. What a great day! If you are not on my email list for picture postings, email me at mark@mulert.com so I can add you.
9/4: Mt Carmel	DHS 6 - Mt. Carmel 34 Ouch! The weather was great for football. Unfortunately, the boys were outmanned and the final score tells the story. Lots of good pictures, but mostly on defense.
9/11: GBS	DHS 14 - GBS 12 What a (rainy & wet) game! Down 6-0 at half. The Warriors came back strong to tie the game early in the second half. But the rains stopped long enough for GBS to take the lead back on one long play. DHS kept their focus and intensity and ground out a late game winning drive with runs up the middle. A game saving final definsive stand sealed the victory. - Lots of muddy AND happy pictures.
9/16: Evanston	DHS 30 - Evanston 6 DHS began strong and rolled up a 12 - 0 halftime lead. Evanston came back and nearly tied the game early in the second half. But Deerfield regained the momentum to seal an impressive win.
9/25: Maine W	DHS alot - Maine West alittle I guess this how you're supposed to schedule a homecoming game! And even the weather cooperated. Awesome game. Lots of sun. Lots of playing time for all. And so, lots of pictures. Enjoy.
10/2: Maine E	DHS 40+ - Maine East 0 Another big win on the first cold fall day. I'm sure the players were fine, but it was cold standing on the sidelines.
10/9: Niles N	DHS 40+ - Niles North 0 What a wonderful day for a football game. And what a great game for the DHS boys. Another big win. The stage is set for the last two conference games against HP and GBN.
10/16: HP	DHS 24 - Highland Park 14 A big win against Highland Park. Sets up the showdown with Glenbrook North next week for the conference title.
10/21: GBN	DHS 8 - Glenbrook North 14 The last game of the season with the championship on the line. DHS started out with a safety. The defense forced several turnovers and we had a chance to drive for a touchdown to tie the game with under 2 minutes left. But GBN's defense held strong to preserve their victory. GREAT SEASON!
