Thu 4/5: DHS 0 - ETHS 0 Coach Grady's Report:The Deerfield Girls Soccer team completed a challenging stretch of three games in three days with a 0-0 tie in windy Evanston on Thursday. Playing against a 20 mile per hour wind in the first half, the Warriors nonetheless had the better of play, forcing 6 saves from the Evanston keeper, while Bailey only had to make 2 saves. In the second half, the Warriors generated a great deal of pressure. Hannah and Amanda I each had headers that went inches wide or over the crossbar, and Claire had a shot cleared off the line by a defender after beating the keeper. The Warriors were unable to convert, however, and had to settle for a 0-0 tie, extending Deerfield’s unbeaten streak to 4 games.
