Tue 9/4
Tue Sep 4: Began the morning with a moose passing camp. During the day we peaked at over 9,700' on our route from Upper Granite Canyon
via Fox Creek Pass (9,600)
to Death Canyon Shelf (9,400)
8 or 9 miles.

Wed 9/5
Wed Sep 5: Everyone hit their stride by the beginning of day 3. But the climb took it's tool on a few of us.
Death Canyon Shelf (9,000)
via Mt Meek Pass (9,726)
and Hurricane Pass (10,400)
to South Fork Cascade Canyon (9,000)
8 or 9 miles.

Thu 9/6
Thu Sep 6: Depart South Fork Cascade Canyon (9,000)
We split up today. Mark, Abi & Isaac decided the Thursday climb was too much. So they took a convenient downhill trail through Cascade Canyon to the car - and found a hotel.
Corey, Ken & Roark continued on as planned.
via Paintbrush Divide (10,700)
to Upper Paintbrush (9,400)
8 or 9 miles.

Fri 9/10
Fri Sep 7: Corey, Ken & Roark hiked down to String Lake Trailhead (6,900).
