June 2023: June pictures. Loons are nesting! Click HERE  to view my June daily loon log! (also click to collapse) Thu Jun 22, am - Saw single loon hanging out off of their nesting island. Sat Jun 24, am - Sighted the mom on nest (from distance in kayak with binoculars and 300mm zoom lens) Sun Jun 25, am - Loon patiently still on nest Thu Jun 29, am - Loon on nest. Partner directly off nest midcove. All quiet and peaceful.
