10/14/'09: 8/12/09: USA 2 - Costa Rica 2 World Cup Qualifier. RFK Stadium, Washington DC What an end to nearly 3 years of Would Cup 2010 preparation and qualifying. In a wild finish, playing a man down, the US scored with under a minute remaining to tie the score at 2. This provided the US with the single point it needed to finish on top of the CONCACAF region and move on to South Africa, 2010. Lee joined Nate and me along with many PU alums, including Hendo. We also got to visit with Bob's mom & dad and family.
